Zenju^ （727-797）. A Japanese Hosso^ monk， disciple of Genbo^ 玄昉， who was a scholar of Yoga^ca^ra as well as hetu-vidya^ 因明. Afterwards he founded Akishino Temple. He wrote many works on both Hosso^ and hetu-vidya^. He was believed by some to have been a reincarnation of Kuiji.
